Originally from Austin, TX, DJ Eve (also known as Evilynda) fell in love with music on the dance floor, pulled in by the energy, connection, and freedom of sound system culture. What began as a deep love for electronic music quickly evolved into a passion for DJing, where she found her voice behind the decks and a way to share that same spark with others.
For 20+ years, Eve has been a staple of Minneapolis’ electronic music community and one of the Twin Cities’ 1st female EDM DJs. She made her mark across nearly every major club in the city and held a long-running residency at the beloved Lounge in the early 2000s. She has played all over the world in clubs like Sound Bar (Chicago), Coco Bongo (Cancun), a wild rave opening for Deadmau5 on the Salt Flats of Utah, as well as Amsterdam, UK, and more.
As co-founder and resident DJ of Gateway, a trans/queer centered dance venue, she strives to create a safe space for anyone and everyone on and off the dance floor.
Eve is also the Founder and Owner of Afterhours by Eve, a company dedicated to elevating emerging artists and representing those that would otherwise not have a platform for expression.
And when she’s not behind the decks? She’s usually deep into an MMORPG because even legends need an epic side quest
