Leon is still in the ICU at HCMC and we are all hoping for a full recovery. This is to let everyone know that I will be setting up an altar at Vital for friends, acquaintances, and strangers to come give their blessings, prayers, and wishes for healing. Leon has long been a supporter of the midwest EDM community and a great friend to many. If you cannot make it to HCMC to visit him, please stop by Vital and put your energy toward his recovery.

As many of you know, our dear friend Leon Shambroom was in a house fire last week. He is currently under sedation at HCMC hospital in Minneapolis. Visitors are welcome, but only in groups of two to three people at a time. It is only Facebook, but I truly believe in the power of will. Please suggest this to your friends as a show of support and belief in the power of the human will and spirit. Please, keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they go through this very difficult time.

"We learned today that Leon has suffered some brain damage due to severe CO poisoning. There is swelling inside his brain, a reaction to lack of oxygen. This might or might not be reversible. It could be months or even years before we see a change, if we ever do, and he could end up at any point on t...he continuum between 100% recovered to permanently unresponsive. Since Leon is so young and healthy, the doctors have been somewhat encouraging but there is no way to predict an outcome. He will be at the HCMC Medical ICU until further notice. And we will be there with him.
The best thing all of you can do for Leon is to keep coming to visit and shower him with love. We assume he can hear us, so he'll know you're there even if he can't show it. One caution: he will be vulnerable to infection, so if you are sick please don't come till you've recovered.
